new seat info

Disregard the one about $1,000 seats, that was old information.  All seats in the center section of the theatre are being held for the 70’s and 80’s alumni for naming for individuals at 500.00 per seat.  David Godkin is involved on behalf of this era of alumni and he assures me that if you we use the link provided at the following website that donations toward a memorial seat for Lisa will be counted accordingly.    http://alumni.uvm.edu/foundation/rtt/

Royall Tyler Theatre- Lets name a seat for Lisa

I recently attended a 40th Royall Tyler Theatre reunion. Many of us talked about how much we miss and wish Lisa could have been there with us.

During the reunion, we alumni and others in attendance were challenged by the University President to meet a funding challenge for new seats and other refurbishments to the Royall Tyler Theatre where Lisa and many of us spent the better part of our college years.  There is a seat naming opportunity as part of the fundraising.  Several of us are working on raising funds to ensure seats are named for some of our dear friends who are no longer with us, Lisa rising to the top of my list.  I wanted to reach out to you to see if anyone among Lisa’s California friends and family might be interested in contributing.

We have the center section of the theatre reserved for naming rights for the 70’s and 80’s era cast and crews.  $500.00 is the amount needed to name a seat.  I have $200.00 committed from two of us for a seat for Lisa and will be asking other alumni but wanted to make sure that you and those who were so near and dear to Lisa in these last years have an opportunity to contribute if any of you so desire.  We need to meet the challenge deadline of pledges by the end of this year.  The money need not be in hand, but the deadline for commitments is inflexible.
